This course examine the sound systems of the Garifuna language. Participants will practice the unfamiliar sound combinations that exist in Garifuna, say the Garifuna alphabet, greet someone and introduce themselves and others in Garifuna to near native like competence, Count from 1 to 10, construct at least five simple Garifuna sentences and speak fluently for 40 seconds or five sentences.
